Welcome, Maldives Open Source Society (MOSS) a legally registered NGO focusing on distributing, advertising and demonstrating the Free Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) within the Maldives. We work with all types of users including business, educational, government and home users. We believe that by bringing the freedom, power and stability of FLOSS to the public we can change the face of computing in Maldives for the better.

Membership is open to anyone with a genuine interest in the Linux operating system and Open Source software as a whole. Our meetings are held on every Saturday at 9:00pm (2100hrs). Updated May 2, 2009: We have branched our translation effort and discussions to another group named Dhivehi Translation/Localization Team. All translation and localization related discussions will take place there. A lot of information and resources on translation projects and how to participate will be detailed among the pages and discussion threads at that group.
