Hi Hussein,
It is nice to learn that you all are translating Moodle to Dhivehi. Yes, Ubuntu localization project was initiated by Maldives Open Source Society (MOSS) though it is a bit idle at this movement. All and most of the MOSS interactions are done via our mailing list and weekly meetings.
So I will suggest you to join the mailing list and have an idea on how we work.
You are encouraged to direct your specific questions and concerns to the mailing list for a wider audience and help.

At the same time we have a specific mailing list for localization effort at
http://groups.google.com/group/divtranslatorsWe can start and carry on discussions specific to translation on this mailing list.
From your email below it is said that you all have already translated some part or a lot, at the same time you all need some pointers. In this respect can you be a little more specific on what you all have already done and what kind of help is need.
We are more than willing to help in any way we can. You may also contact me directly if needed at my mobile 9911170
Note: I am copying this email to the mailing list so others members of MOSS can give feedback on this effort.
Salam
Yusuf Abdulla Shunan

Subject: FMC Dhivehi Moodle Project Students
To:
shu...@gmail.com
Hello,
My name is Amir Hussein and I'm a Bachelor of Information Technology (third year, final semester) student of Faculty of Management and Computing (FMC) of Maldives College of Higher Education (MCHE). In our Applied IT Project module, I along with two other students have taken the project of Dhivehi Moodle.
Basically, what we are doing is, we are developing a Dhivehi language package for Moodle (an open source e-learning and management web application) so that it could be used in Dhivehi. MCHE has Moodle e-learning and management system (Gateway to E-learning at MCHE (GEM)) implemented for its students and lecturers and is used in various of its faculties. Upon completion of the project we would have a Dhivehi GEM (Dhivehi Moodle) by integrating the Dhivehi language package that we create in GEM as Moodle allows the addition of such language packages.
We are translating an English Moodle language package to Dhivehi. Our project supervisor/lecturer suggested that we contact you as you might be able to help us during the translation (development) of the Dhivehi language package. So, we wondering if you could give us some pointers or references that could help us in our translation. We have completed 2/3 of our translation and our project is due by 20th of October, and translation by 30th September. We were aware of the Dhivehi Linux project, but unfortunately, we realize it is a bit late to have contacted you for this as we have already done most of the translation. However, we would appreciate whatever assistance that you could provide us.
