Title: Mid Level Java Developer
Duration:12 months
Location: Denver or Atlanta
Contract

 

Must have : Tomcat, Rest, Servlet, JSP

 

Job Responsibilities: 
3 - 7 years Responsible for analysis, design, and creation of code for applications

 

Required knowledge and skills
• Strong Java skills including Servlet and JSP development
• HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS),Jasper Report
• SQL & Databases (DB2, Sybase, MySQL)
• Experience working in Unix/Linux and creating shell scripts
• Experience working with IDEs such as Eclipse
• Experience with distributed systems
• Experience with basic database concepts and have the ability to construct SQL queries
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Preferred knowledge and skills
• Telecommunications experience is a plus
• Experience working with Tomcat application server
• Hands on experience with REST Web Services
• EDI experience is a plus
• Experience working with Sterling Integrator
• Agile development methodology using Scrum practices is a plus
