Welcome to Mr. Lima's class discussion board where exploration, explanation, and creation of science expands at the speed of light as the electrons flowing through the inter web of information get carried across our universe.

Feel free to participate in the required guided discussions and to post your own questions / comments / discussions about class.

For instructions on how to participate, watch videos from the Collaborative Classroom Lecture Series. You can also read more about how to participate on the Collaborative Classroom Student Guide. This document also includes our rules of conduct for the online discussion environment.

Remember that you only get points for unique substantial contributions that add to the discussion.
You get more points if your contribution inspires others to contribute more
You get even more points for creating and managing your own discussions (the same is true for doing a wikispace/blog)
You can also get points for correcting each other both on style and on content (this includes asking for clarification if they did not answer your question or noting that someone answer something wrong)
You can also get points for complimenting someone's post (specific support needed)

Note: Reading checks that must be performed before you can take mastery quizzes are not considered collaborative classroom points, but most be performed prior to taking quizzes. However, you can get points for correcting things people say or adding a critique/compliment about their point of views and information.
