Dear Judith Hilkert,
The first goal of the ALA Ahead to 2010 strategic plan is that ALA and
its members are leading advocates for libraries and the library
profession. We need to take action and encourage others to do so as
well.

Good News, Margaret Jane Stauble was able to get the MLA ACRL a
$100.00 scholarship!
However, we have to agree on a way to spend the money. Any ideas?
Here are the guidelines for spending:
ACRL Chapters may spend budgeted resources on any items or activities
that support the charitable and educational purposes of ACRL's

We Need a Legislative Representative

We need a MLA ACRL Legislative Representative. This person would
respond to emails, snail mails and maybe even visit an elected
official. Please let me know you feelings, suggestions, etc.

Proposal for a $5.00 MLA ACRL annual fee
