July 8-11, Catalina Island, CA

1. It is now possible to register for UAI 2010. Details about
registration can be found at
http://event.cwi.nl/uai2010/registration.html.
Registration rates will be raised after June 16, again after June 24,
and again after July 7. It is also possible to register on-site at the
conference.
2. The deadline for submissions to the 2010 UAI APPROXIMATE INFERENCE
CHALLENGE is July 1. Four free UAI registrations will be awarded to the
winning
participants. The evaluation will focus on the following computational
tasks:
* Calculating MAP assignments
* Calculating partition functions
* Calculating marginals
