Help me please with few issues

Hi there, first of all I'd like to thank everyone who made this
possible. Today I installed the firmware 1.0.9 and it was the one with
cinescope mark etc, it looks great but I have just few issues there.
First of all the menus are blinking very quickly but a bit annoying it
gives you the impression something it's wrong even tough is not. When
I turn it on it always show the writing that say magic lantern Pre-
release 2010dec18...etc(first question, is it possible to avoid it to
show all the time when you turn the camera on? then, the magic lantern
seems to be excellent but for dummies beginner like me most of the
things are kind of unknown like those marks, are the real video that
you get from the camera? i mean when we shoot, do we get what we see?
or maybe not and those marks help us to figure it out? or what? how do
they work exactly? then, I dont know why but in the audio menu I have
nothing, kind of someone forgot to put the audio gain control on it so
they won't show on the menu but I get audio meter on the screen. Then
I'd love to know more about all the feautures a bit more extensivily,
like lcd hand trigger. focus stack etc...I'm afraid I got a version
that is not right I think it is named like this: magiclantern-0.2.0-
rc0_550d_fw109.zip (is that the one? my canon firmware it is 1.0.9) if
I want to install the magiclantern-0.1.9-rc0_550d_fw109.zip is that
possible just copying the new files in the sd or there is something
else I should do? I thought tha the 0.2.0 was never the the 0.1.9 m i
right or that's why it has all these problems? I read that says
prerelease is that why? so fi now i change them with the 0.1.9 will
that be alright?one more thing you know the white square which is in
the middle of the screen? the one which become green when you focus
it? normally it is orientated orizontally but in my magic lantern it
is orientated vertically. I hope someone has answer for all my issues,
and the most important thing can someone point me out to the right
1.0.9 firmware and what I do seen that I have this strange one? thanks
