Forum seems down, atm.

Can you confirm that the 30fps is the actual framerate?
We had a similar fluke on the 500D when trying to get 1080p @ 30fps.
The file was encoded at 30fps (as declared in the header), but the
actual recording was still done at 20fps. This also caused the
recording to stop after a few seconds.

You can try to verify the actual recorded framerate by filming a clock
and watching if it runs normal, slow or fast during playback.
