Mission: investigate Silverlight streaming to iPhone support

Microsoft has made some announcements about adding Silverlight video
streaming to iPhones.

I would like someone to figure out how to transcode our media for the
iPhone and write some code that automatically renders the correct UI
for the relevant user agents.

Note: since this is really about adding support for the HTML5 <video>
tag, it has much greater applicability than just iPhone support.
