The biggest fuckup this election season has been Geraldine Ferraro.
Using the word "token" was like spitting in Obama's face. She should
have said that Obama hasn't paid his dues. Which is the truth.
Now I'll explain why his unpaid dues don't matter.
The U.S. is in a recession that will last another three years or so.
Politicians promise that they'll DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, but the truth
of the matter is that nothing much can be done about it. Recessions
are cyclical. Ask any economist. This one is the norm.
Enough senior citizens will vote for McCain to give the Republicans
their last hurrah this year. But he represents the past, not the
future. The recession guarantees that he'll serve only one term.
Obama will attract young (age 18-35) new voters. Many of them will
become lifelong Democrats at a time when both political parties are
losing their luster. The choice for the Democratic Party is Obama
or irrelevance. They should take total control of the U.S. Congress
this year with him on the ticket.
Hillary will reign like Queen Victoria over eight years of peace
and prosperity. The very zenith of the empire. Beginning in 2013.
The only thing that can stop Hillary is her own fanatic supporters.
Because the 2008 election must be close. Obama needs to lose by less
than five percent of the popular vote. Otherwise, the young new
voters will become discouraged, alienated and ultimately apathetic.
So shut the fuck up. You need every new voter you can get to offset
the tsunami of politicized religious fundamentalists.
Geraldine Ferraro is now on the dole at Fox News with her new pals
Karl Rove and Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly. It's good to know that
there's a safety net for psychotic politicians.

But when _they_ speak in such terms, they're just Islamophobes, aren't
they?
Pies, how dare you hijack this thread after I hijacked it from Zero.
A Christian fundamentalist is running against the President of Iran?
I'm impressed. How are the grassroots dealing with the Islamic
Revolutionary Guard?
BTW, French troops encountered a tsunami of politicized religious
fundamentalists in Afghanistan last week. Ten French soldiers dead.

Anyway, the only reason that I mentioned the tsunami is because I'm
trying to avert a Republican landslide in November.
Obama continues to have a 60% chance of winning, according to the
futures on tradesports.
Also, electoral college projections indicate an Obama win.
I know a 70 yr old white Republican woman who listens to Rush
Limbaugh, and she's voting for Obama.
Tsunami, landslide. It's a play on words. Innit? The literary
equivalent to a shot from the three point line.

And I wonder why I'm so unpopular.

Okay. Now I have no friends in the Democratic Party. Quick work.

Now I'll dig my own grave.

I wonder... Is there rehab for caffeine abusers?

Okay. Now the Republicans hate me, too.
> The recession guarantees that he'll serve only one term.
I've been watching too many talking heads on TV.

The reference to Queen Victoria doubtless went over really well with
feminists. NOT!
> The very zenith of the empire. Beginning in 2013.
Unless voters age 18-35 stay home in droves four years from now.

This makes no sense at all. Not even to me. The average adolescent
is "discouraged, alienated and ultimately apathetic." Eventually
they grow up. Or not. I never did.
> So shut the fuck up.
Resume whining. Pretend I didn't say anything.

This is true. But my suggestions probably won't help.

Bottom line: I have no idea who will win this election.
The notion that Daily Kos and Second Life will make a difference
is... silly.
That said, never underestimate Grouchy Old McCain's ability to put
his expensive loafer in his pie hole.
It's time for me to shut up and draw cartoons.
Grumpy Old McCain.

So far, so good.

Lifelong Democrats? Time will tell.

They chose Obama. Good choice.

Yes.

Wait a minute.
