Who uses that catch phrase? Seriously, no, seriously.

well, here's some "obsessive" analysis for you all:

according to one such study in Google:

"P" posted it 183 times in 9,110 posts = 2 % of the time

[approx. once every 50 posts since 1996]

Ray posted it 18 times in 25,467 posts = 0.0007 % of the time

[approx. once every 1414 posts since 1999]

extrapolating that all out, "P" has posted "No, seriously"
apprximately 2,857 times more frequently than Ray CHIPCOG Haddad, his
totally unoriginal copy-catter.

also, "P" used it four times in the subject line, whereas Ray used it
no times in the subject line.

FYI.

He didn't do anything even remotely similar, imbecile. Have you even

>This is not the best plan, and it was poorly executed,

He thought he would be clever and shocking, to make a ridiculous and
wrong-headed point. It's utter foolishness to imagine I "wished
someone dead". She said I was "shooting the messenger" and I said,
good, go lie down and die.

Even you should be able to see the progression there.

>If Hope's remark is to be taken in context, then Ray's should be too.

Ray's remark is very much being taken in context. The context being:
the men to whom he was referring is actually on the point of death.
Whereas Leslie is not, and never was.

Also, Leslie was part of the exchange, and Pastorio is on his
death-bed. There's a small difference there, too.

Though clearly, if you need to have it explained to you, it's not
really worth explaining it to you.

no doubt.

Ray is incapable of getting anyone to agree with him, even the ones
who DO agree with him.

your incredible generosity here in presenting some sort of scenario to
attempt to make OJ look good is to be commended, i suppose.

> so he had to do something similar to show how enraging it is.

he didn't do anything similar.

anyway, if Ray was actually trying to be a "hero" [LOL], he could have
easily replied with:

Despicable.

but he couldn't, because it just wouldn't scan given the context.

that's why he snipped out the context which would have shown that what
actually occured was nothing more than a witty comeback.

>And now you are shooting the messenger, whoever I am.

Good. Lie down and die.

instead, CHIPCOG isolated Alan's words in order to use them to
"amusingly" and cowardly express his petty hatred for yet another one
of his (almost infinite) intellectual betters, "P", etc..

his purpose was not to morally tweak Alan, who had done no wrong, his
purpose was to express his contemptible ugliness.

> This is not the best plan, and it was poorly executed,

his ugliness was deliberate, yes. hello?

but to the extent that Ray is capable of formulating a "righteous"

he was not mirroring, he was projecting.

you seriously underestimate Ray's desperation to avenge himself of a
long history of being shown to be a stupid uninteresting hate-enabling
twit.

if you want to get at the truth, you need to take in far more context

Saying he thought 190,000 were killed is not the same thing as saying
he wished 190,000 were killed.

Incidentally, your use of "psycho" is offensive. I happen to have
schizophrenia, and from my point of view, you are behaving exactly
analogously to Ann Coulter with her 'faggot' comment. We both know Ray
(Edwards) isn't mentally ill (gay), but you (Coulter) find it
convenient to call him psycho (faggot) because that's what comes to
your mind when you're thinking 'despicable subhuman'.

Pies.

please.

you cannot possibly get an accurate understanding of what Ray said if
you insist on isolating that small part of his quote.

perhaps it's your schizophrena that allows you to honestly believe
that you can consider things totally out of context with complete
reliability.

and that's not a slam in any way whatsoever.

it's merely a possible explanation for how you could possibly ignore
the clear implications of the rest of what Ray said about "dancing
with GLEE" and "loving it" and "reveling in it" and having "not one
iota of regret", etc., about 100,000 people being killed.

that's simply inhuman.

thus, his subsequent comment regarding his "concern" about the 100,000
number being far too low is clearly a wish that it be higher.

by 90,000 people.

EOFS.

it's why you'll notice that Ray has not been able to make any argument
at all about the 100% accuracy of my paraphrase.

and don't think he hasn't tried to work it out.

but even Ray isn't stupid enough to post the several dozen "angles"
that he's typed up in vain.

> Incidentally, your use of "psycho" is offensive.

my apologies. i didn't mean it to be offensive to anyone.

FWIW, my use of "psycho" was shorthand for "evil psychopath", not the
vast array of various psychological impairments that you seem to think
i was refering to.

> I happen to have schizophrenia, and from my point of view, you are
> behaving exactly analogously to Ann Coulter with her 'faggot' comment.

well, from my point of view, i'm not.

not even close.

> We both know Ray (Edwards) isn't mentally ill (gay),

i really have no idea whatsoever whether or not Edwards is gay, but i
would only call him a faggot if he was a gay basher. that's certainly
not why Ann Coulter did so.

OTOH, i'm pretty sure that Ray _is_ mentally ill to some degree
(though it in no way gets him off the hook, because his particular
mental illness is only a minor mitigating factor of his hateful and
disgusting foolish-pride-filled personality and behavior).

however, the reason i call him a psycho is not because he bashes
psychopaths (on the contrary, he's a cheerleader for them), but
because he _is_ a psycho.

> but you (Coulter) find it convenient to call him psycho (faggot)
> because that's what comes to your mind when you're thinking
> 'despicable subhuman'.

well, personally, i don't consider most psychologically impaired
people to be "despicable subhumans".

far from it. i have compassion for most of them.

the only psychologically impaired people whom i consider "despicable
subhumans" are the terrorists, and the evil self-serving dishonest &
dishonorable war-mongers, and Ray (who happens to be both).

yes i am.

and i don't "hate" all right-wingers.

just the dishonest manipulative hate-mongering evil psychos among
them.

many of the right-wingers are reasonably honest and loving people.

or your original psycho comments?

you know, those original verbatim psycho comments of yours that you

You are stating that Pie's assessment has no validity because you have
diagnosed him with diminished capacity to render rational judgement
(when it inconveniences you).

Do you use that on your woman, too?

Of course you try to "Carville" it, benefitting from saying it but
avoiding repercussions of saying it by insulating it all with a bunch
of PC bullshit.

You liberals are really something else. Say what you mean, or shut
up.

firstly, Pies is the one who said self-professed being a
schizophrenic, not moi.

secondly, i explained my reasoning to Pies in another post where Pies
was selectively isolating something while totally ignoring the clearly
relevant context of the rest of Ray's statement.

AFAIK, keeping things in context is one of the problems with
schizophrenia, but i supoose i could be wrong.

anyway, considering the context of my comments above, i highly doubt
that Pies would be offended.

so it's kind of a complicated paradox, i suppose.

Pies often show great understanding of things, without al of the usual
baggage that others tend to mix in with their opinions, so i don't
think that Pies is incapable of being rational and logical, i simply
questioned whether this particular instance of context strangeness
might be explained by Pies' schizophrenia -- perhaps Pies is on the
wrong end of a context-impaired episode or something. i have no idea.

however, admittedly, my comment above was an insult to Ray.

i wouldn't dream of denying that.

in any case, one thing is certain, you won't be presenting any such

i've presented it side by side at least a few times already.

It's your translation, Xero. What part of that don't you understand?
It's not my words you are discussing here but your own. My words
don't require your paraphrasing. They stand on their own, as always.

Now, for the best ever lines: I'm proud that I showed you all for
what you are. Live with it.

As I said, you're clueless here (not necessarily everywhere, but
definitely here). Ray is not someone I would defend. Pies perhaps,
but not Ray. I do not respond to Ray's posts. Why? Because he
doesn't say anything worth responding to. If he ever does, perhaps
I'll respond, but I think holding my breath would be silly since blue
is not my color.

Ray isn't here to talk about writing or anything writing related. Ray
is here for one purpose only. He likes to manipulate the less
manipulative kids, it's his way of convincing himself that he has some
worth. LIGAF, he makes his own bed, it's his problem.

Another thing, while I'm on the subject. You all seem to have written
Pastorio off as dead and buried. The post said he has terminal
cancer, well that's not the same thing as dead and gone. There is
such a thing as remission. It happens. Maybe P will send him some
supercharged spinach. In any case I think all of those who have
written Pastorio off as dead and buried before the fact are idjuts.

Oh, yes I am you nitwit. Read the passage that got all this going
and tell me that it wasn't one of the most brilliantly crafted
replies to Alan Hope ever written. This entire combat zone is
brought to you by my writing of a few words.

But then again, you are free to believe otherwise. Have a nice
afternoon, Bootsie. How is your spring so far? Warming up?

I don't think either terrorists or war-mongers should be generally
classified as mentally ill. They tend to be people who are very
effective, maintain large social networks, and are devoted to their
causes. I think there is research that supports this.

It's just that anyone who is hated is called crazy, 'cause it's the
worst thing you can say about someone--instant invalidation.

"psycho" means psychotic too. It is in fact what people call someone
who is crazy, and most people don't really distinguish between
psychotic and psychopathic even though the insane are mostly not
violent or sociopathic.

I'm a terrorist now? Why? Because I mop the MW floor with you
regularly? Does that really terrorize you?

And, you, Pies, are defending... this:

"It seems to me that you (Crow) have never allowed for an opposing
opinion; only those that agree with you. Anything else comes from
what you refer to as insane people. Chilling." -- Ray Haddad in MW

"Oddly, in this case he [Zen] sees us in a sort of agreement. That has

"Are you carrying on two sides of a conversation now, Zero?

"You're insane." -- Ray Haddad in MW (to Ashby)

"You must be insane!" -- Ray Haddad in MW (to towse)

Citations are too much work. But I remember reading once about such
research. You don't have to believe me. I won't hate you.

I am not online to make a court case for anything, but rather to hint
at things you might not have been aware of.

Ray is irrelevant. I asserted that Zero was acting like Ann Coulter.
I'm not defending anyone.

Ann Coulter's use of 'faggot' was offensive, but I'm not a big fan of
John Edwards, either.
