this post is not about bowling balls

this post is about creativity.

(as well as a lack of creativity).

it's about how the human mind works.

it's about how words and ideas stick in your head...

and stay there...

even when the words and ideas are no longer relevant.

thus messing up context.

people who are far too "rational" will become annoyed with such
incongruency.

people who are creative will consciously (or unconsciously) try to
make some sort of connection between the irrelevant words and what
they're continuing to feed their minds with.

and if they fail at this conscious (or unconscious) attempt to make
sense of the irrelevancies, creative thinking folks will not be
bothered about it all.

they will happily move on to the next words and ideas, enjoying the
ride.

however, those who become annoyed by such incongruencies will align
themselves up perfectly (along with others of their ilk) and stand
there angry and stiff at the end of a long polished lane.

I have a dodecahedral bowling ball.

I think that's creative.

<shaking tasty carrot stick in most a Underwriterly fashion>

Lanes shouldn't be polished, that's just an accident waitin' to happen. And
when ya gots angry and stiff peeps runnin' up towards that polished lane, the
injuries are gonna be more severe than if they were all jolly and laid back
when they flipped into the air and then came crashin' down on that unforgivin'
surface.

The only savin' grace of polished floors is that part of the bone shattering
energy of yer flip will be used in slidin' comically through the rubber strip
thingys wot drop down.

Less comic (for you) if ya get sucked down into the ball return. In fact, that
would be truly embarrassing for peeps like Ray Haddad, Gene Royer, and Lloyd
"Skip" Press 'cause they'd be ejected stamped "Non-Retunrable: Never Had Any
To Begin With".

<considering>

Perhaps "grace" was a poor word choice... I'll have to nap on this. Where's
Blankie?

Poor Sylvia, focusing on parts of our anatomy for which she's
creating a new altar right here in MW.
