any predictions for the last season?
for the first episode?
supposedly, according to some guy on the Don Imus show who went to the
cast screening of the first two installments, one of the main
characters gets offed in the first show.
who would you lose, and how would you write it?
...
hard to say.
maybe i'd have the missing Russian dude show up and strangle Paulie
Walnuts for clipping him in the snow.
he's be real pissed and whatnot because of the way he was wounded, and
how difficult that made it for him to survive, so he'd sneak up on
Paulie and scream loudly first, or some such.
but i can't think of any interesting circumstances in which it would
happen.
at the barber shop? nah. too cliche.
at The Bing?
boring.
while Paulie is sun-tanning? whatever.
during a collecton? but why?
something totally new, i guess.
but what would the metaphor be?
how would it move the saga along?
um...
wow, can you imagine trying to write an entire season?
yikes.
it really makes you appeciate the masterpiece that that show is.
those writers are obviously brilliant.
methinks it would be a hell of lot easier to write a Star Trek
episode.
or a sitcom.
or something for that women's Lifetime network thinger.
but the Sopranos?
tough gig.
