Al Franken Victory Speech Video

the thing that makes it particularly hilarious is that while watching
it you can't help but imagine the press conference he would be giving
if the results had not turned out in his favor.

yes, while comparing the two speeches in your head, you simply cannot
help but marvel at his comic timing during this victory speech of his,
held outside in the cold.

all of the methodical drawn-out thank you's and whatnot.

too precious.

bravo, Franken. bravo.

What's really a scream about this one is the way his wife is watching
like a hawk his every word and standing close enough to give him a
sharp pump point right in the ankle if he should so much as dare drop
that phony, officious manner to say, "And finally, I just want to say
as the electrion results show, "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and
dog-gone it, people like me."

What a disappointment! And I'll bet it's the same for a good two-
thirds of the people who voted for this gutless, hen-pecked pee-cee
phony.
