Hello. I have recently become a Mark Helprin fan. His short stories are
unbelievably good. I would like to write him a letter. Does anyone know
his email or snailmail address, or through what publisher I can contact
him? Also, does anyone know if he writes poetry?

Thanks in advance,

David Russo

Helprin occasionally writes for the Wall Street Journal. (He also wrote
for Bob Dole in the last presidential campaign.) They would probably
forward a letter to him.

Your best bet would be to write to him care of his publisher.

For what it is worth, I've read some interviews with him and he is quite
antisocial. How someone can write so lovingly about people and spend so
much time grousing about them is beyond me...
