You make a common mistake - thinking that an idea is worth something by
itself.
Yes, one could write a superb novel on those "what ifs" - several
different ones in fact. Or just plain trash. The difference between a
novel I'll enjoy reading, and one I won't, lies more in the execution
than in the original idea.
(Think of painting: "would you buy a painting of sunflowers? Would it
sell?" Well, Van Gogh's sunflowers sell for millions of dollars; no
one would pay a cent for mine, if I painted any!)
There are millions of us out here with ideas. Some of us will actually
develop those into stories, write them, and submit them. Some of those
will be worth reading, and some won't.

It's not entirely clear from their elliptical mode of communication, but I
believe the intent here is that this person has actually written this book
and is seeking help selling it.

Been there, read that. Check out the illuminati! chronicles.
The truth is not only stranger than we imagine, its stranger than
we can imagine.

That would be the "Illuminatus" trilogy, by Robert Anton Wilson, I think.
Illuminati is the game (and the conspriacy, of course)...
