Wrong!
Money should flow TO the author, not FROM the author.

I have decided to put up a web site to get as much money flowing to me as
possible.I want my piece of the big, old internet money fest.
I would rather be rich than loved.
Bob
I'm sorry to inform you that there is no more internet money.
However, you may be on to something. As money is not flowing to me, the
writer, fast enough, maybe that rule IS wrong. Maybe this poster with the
website IS on to something. Maybe being the writer ISN'T where all the
money is!
OK, howboutthis: I have a place you can submit manuscripts to, too! $1 per
page. But since I don't want to jeopardize your potential for selling first
rights to somebody who will actually pay YOU, later, I'm going to be more
sensitive than the original poster to your writerly needs, and I won't post
them on my website. So you can just submit them with your check or money
order, and I'll keep them here on my desk.
Thanks,
Jen

On second thought, I just looked at the painting of my grandma. She taught me
not to steal or be bad, so I guess I'll will not rip off the lost.
