I want to check out Julia Cameron 'Artist's Way'

All i had to do was go online to the library catalog, find the book and request it.

If it hadn't been at my library, they could arrange an interlibrary transfer

dontcha' love modern technology?

I do indeed. My long-time love for libraries is only enhanced by the
benefits that technology can provide. Our library is small, but I've
been able to get virtually any book I wanted through inter-library
loans.

Technology makes research easier, too. You can use your library card
UPC code to access zillions of periodicals and just print the articles
off on your own printer, instead of having to trek down to the library
to do it. Because of all the research I do, that saves me hours.

But I still trek down there as often as possible. There is no way my
computer smells as good as the library.

Well, after I spilled a glass of Chardonnay on it it smelled as good
as the library, but it also fried my keyboard.

Your library card has a number?

Now, see, when I spilled (and broke) a glass of cheap red in
the Epson LQ-850, it just kept printing along.

Dick (people do ask about the odd reddish brown stains
Harper (on the palstic, though)

I started out with that one in the library, but they wouldn't let me
keep renewing it for the twelve weeks of Cameron's program. I ended up
with a used copy from a local bookstore. Sweet! Followed up with her
book "The Right To Write" which really made all the good writing moods
swim to the surface.

I see that there's a companion kit of supplies - not the date book or the journal. Do you
know anything about it?

I'm going to buy a copy of Artists Way, too, probably used. Couple of lurkers on this ng
have de-lurked and we are being a support system to each other. It's really great having
that kind of contact

Have you bought it already? If not, send me an email and I will
mail you my copy. I used it several years ago to get me started
writing and I've never stopped (well, except for a few pitfalls.)
It's free if you want it.

Yes, it is indeed. I wish you well with it.

Not quite sure what that would be, no.

I did pick up a tape of an interview with her and Natalie Goldberg - it
lasted me nearly all the way home from Taos. (The volume levels were
simply awful, but I really dug what they had to say. When I could hear
it.) After that it was a buncha mp3s of something Dream Theater related
called "Liquid Tension Project". I never quite got the explanation on it
or googled it, but it's great background music.
