Oh rubbish. What's your problem? That the Swiss don't want minarettes
on the mosques?
Give me a break. In 1970 there were 16'400 Muslims in Switzerland. Now
there are almost
400'000 Muslims - in a country with a population of just 7,5 million.
Fundamental Islamics and Fashists have pretty much the same idealogoy,
so just stop
trashing Switzerland - you probably don't even live here, but I - as a
proud Brit - do.
Melanie
Hmmm I don't think "Fundamental Islamics" are much into fashon.
Unless you mean "fascist". But then I've not seen any islamic people
who are anywhere near the British Skinhead as far as being "fascist".
But then again British skinheads are "Fashists" in their own way I
guess.
And if you were a "proud Brit" WTF are you doing living with the
Swiss? Your own knind not good enough for you?
Ok, first of all, as possibly the worst speller
on the internet...you don't have the footing to
correct Melanie.
If you can't comprehend why Islamic fundamentalists
are the same as facists, then how did you even make
your way to the toilet this morning without crapping
your pants?
And why should someone discard their pride in
their homeland, while they're living in one of the
most beautiful places on the planet?
I mean, if you're so proud of palestine, what
the fuck are *you* doing living in Canada?
Surely you can find a better way to stimulate
posting to the group, than playing stupid.

All fundementalists, what ever religion they practice, are facists.

Was born here. The most beautiful place on earth.

You first.
I was born in Khartoum, Sudan.(Africa) At that time, it was safe to
live there.
Then we went to Accra in Ghana. (still Africa) Then we moved to Kuala
Lumpur in
Malaya. Then we moved back to Africa and lived in Ibadan, Nigeria.
All this before I was ten.
It was lovely. On a side note, the Islamic influence then was not as
strong as
it is today. I wouldn't want to live in these places today.
Then we moved to England and after a year my father was transferred to
Geneva, Switzerland. I'd have preferred to stay in Kent, but Geneva
was okay too. We stayed there for 5 years.
Britain is a great place, but the rest of the world is, too. Maybe you
don't know
that, cooped up in one country all your life.
And maybe, not knowing much about the rest of the world, you
should not sneer at decisions those countries make.
Melanie
AH!
A colonial Victorian milk in first kind of Brit.
How quaint.

If you get just a little more provincial and sectarian you'll become one of
those Protestants on TV, preaching to roomsful of Republicans.
I'm a card carrying non-sectarian, living in a province.
