"The cerebral narcissist brandishes his brainpower, exhibits his
intellectual achievements, basks in the attention given to his mind
and to its products. He hates his body and neglects it. It is a
nuisance, a burden, a derided appendix, an inconvenience, a
punishment. The cerebral narcissist is asexual (rarely has sex, often
years apart). He masturbates regularly and very mechanically. His
fantasies are homosexual or paedophiliac or tend to objectify his
partner (rape, group sex). He stays away from women because he
perceives them to be ruthless predators who are out to consume him.

The cerebral narcissist typically goes through a few major life
crises. He gets divorced, goes bankrupt, does time in prison, is
threatened, harassed and stalked, is often devalued, betrayed,
denigrated and insulted. He is prone to all manner of chronic
illnesses."

Gawd.

what totally bizarre fantasies you're busy self-projecting here.

um, you're definitely adept at self-projecting
your own vast collection of neurosis.

except for the cerebral part, of course, because that simply cannot
apply to you, as much as you'd like it to.

anyway, i have obviously seriously pissed you off, huh?

no charge, Dude.

on the house.

Dr. Rationalizations.

anyway... back to our subject line change:

why do uncreative greed-mongers persecute the poor?

well, besides their total self-loathing over being so stupid, and
unloving, and uncreative:

it's the nature of greed itself.
http://groups.google.com/group/misc.writing/msg/c15884152c27bcba

Rush Limbaugh, et al, making creative geniuses poor.
http://groups.google.com/group/misc.writing/msg/0cfb1137151ed3d6

because their need for external validation is so great and inherently
insatiable (the vicious circle of being a greedy twat) that they
simply cannot engage in any activity other than persecuting those
without the resources to challenge them in any remotely fair way.

it's called sadism.

you see its manifestations day in, and day out.

from one sadistic pathetic boss to another.

they really get a kick out of kicking those who are down.

and they get so incredibly furious when they can't shut someone up who
keenly notices they're shortcomings and injustices that they often
totally lose their cool and stop making any sort of sense whatsoever.

it's a living in denial thinger.

sharp, sharp teeth.
chew by chew.
until you can sit no more.
nor lie.

I would like to point out that because of the butterfly effect, the
stars _do_ affect our daily lives, since there is certainly an
occasional photon from the nearer ones and that is enough to throw
everything out of whack.

It's just impossible to calculate how.
