Waiting for this Churchill Downs thing on television; I can only think
of the Christ.
One day He cawled me in to watch Him fill out a scratch sheet. My god
I thought the world was going to run out of ink at that moment.
Then, then there was the night He won nearly $100,000.00 on a $12 bet.
It was in the papers and everything. They didn't get His name but I
remember there was some ink in there about it. I showed it to Him and
he told me He wanted it.
You see you think the Lifshine is awl this, what with being the
world's greatest filmmaker and Nuclear Warrior and the California Jam
Wereo and awl this...but the Big Man is the Christ. There is nothing
above Him....nothing.
