After a long year full of more and more screenwriting "experts"
willing to trade a little advice for a lot of money, I have to say,
William Martell's CDs are worth far more than their cost!!!!!
I had my first-ever commercial idea for a movie in a genre I'd never
considered writing before. Listening to William's tape for that genre
has helped immensely--he makes it sound so simple, and draws from a
wide range of films, well-analyzed. No-nonsense, copious examples,
it's fantastic. Plus he's got a great "radio" voice, fun to listen to.
I don't know Bill and have no connection with this enterprise, just
wanted to mention that if you need a little help or encouragement,
this is really a great place to start.
Looking forward to 2010 and getting lots of writing done. Happy
