Dear writers;

Sorry for sending this to various writing-related groups. This is relevant
to our craft and I'm sure others will benefit from the answer to this
problem. I've been searching for 20 cm X 28 cm stiff paper mailing
envelopes without
success. Staples and Grand & Toy don't have them. Wilson National
Stationary doesn't sell to the general public. I asked Canada Post where
they got their envelopes but I only received a form letter thus far.

The reason I need these envelopes is that it costs so much to send my
Deliverance from Jericho book in a standard padded envelope. Even with
Venture One, I had to pay $11.89 to ship a book to Ontario. Had I used a
stiff paper envelope, it would have cost $2.89.

Does anybody know where I can get a large quantity of these envelopes? I
don't want to resort to using cereal boxes to simulate the envelopes I need.

Sincerely,

Bruce Atchison - author of Deliverance from Jericho (Six Years in a Blind
School) and When a Man Loves a Rabbit ((Learning and Living With Bunnies).

Bruce,

Try www.uline.com. They sell a variety of shipping and packaging
supplies. Otherwise, UPS or FedEx may have something available to use
if you utilize their services. That's what I've used to ship to
publishers, and their sizes seem to work well.

Uline is who I found too. For other suppliers, just google "stiff
mailer" or "rigid mailer".

I Googled "stiff mailer" and got an account of Norman Mailer's
funeral.
