A Park-and-Ride is a parking lot located in a suburban or outlying area, where commuters can park their cars and take the train/bus/subway into the city. ...In the old days of Pavonia, there used to be a long moving sidewalk between the platform area and the surface access. I remember going there once, shortly after the mall opened. You could still see the the travellator along the side of the old passageway, but it was sort of "hacked" at one end.... more »
