What's a park-and-ride? 
  A Park-and-Ride is a parking lot located in a suburban or outlying area, where commuters can park their cars and take the train/bus/subway into the city. Previous name of Pavonia/Newport PATH station 
  ...In the old days of Pavonia, there used to be a long moving sidewalk between the platform area and the surface access. I remember going there once, shortly after the mall opened.
