Is there a place were fellow truckers can chat and have good
conversation without all this crap? Not looking for a fight here. Just
wish I could find a site that has more to offer...Like trucking

Before I ever posted to this NG. I could tell it was mostly crap, so I
decided against using a real return address.
There "were" a few good posters here, but it seems most of them went
downhill. To name a few that went south, Scott, RobZip, Dave Ruff, Joyce
and Bull Jackson.
As far is truckers are concerned. If you listen to the CB you will hear a
lot of them say "Shut up Stupid" so, even on the CB it is a lot like this
NG.
If you find something let me know.

They evidently don't have a life: they sure as hell
don't driver for a living, because they're on here day
in day out, 15-20 hrs every day, many of them. You
know who they are: they're the dipshits who will sit in
front of a CB mic for 10-hr stretches, burping,
farting, trying to make certain that someone notices
that they're alive. And they all claim to be truckers!
But truckers generally have a life outside the truck.
We come home, shut off the engine and the CB, go
inside, call some friends, have a good meal, go play
pool, get laid--we sure as hell don't spend the evening
annoying more intelligent people with a CB radio--or a
computer.

I am a female-and a trucker. My father is still a trucker/my ex- is a
trucker and I am off for the next 2 weeks...I just wanted to know if
there was a site someone might know of that I just wasnt finding.....I
would like to meet someone that is single/drives otr and likes or has
horses...But I dont think Iwill find anyone like that cause at the
truckstops the good looking ones are taken...The ones I wouldnt even
look at seems like they will always be single- and are the ones farting
and belching on the CB...
I have lurked here and still cant figure if rookie is richard or who is
who.I really dont care...But I have shown myself that you can hardly get
good answers on here just as on the CB----So I guess I will do as they

It's pretty obvious that the only way to avoid the perverts and such is
to use the message board of a trucking web site, they are moderated. I
had once thought that everyone could ignore the morons and the perverts
and they would go away. Instead everyone that didn't want to see what
the morons and the perverts wrote engaged in a 6 month argument about
every detail of every message of the moron's and pervert's messages
which only encouraged them to stay and argue. In addition the perverts,
the moron's, and their groupies cross post to conflicting news groups
and 99% of the people that read those messages are too lazy or ignorant
to remove the cross-posted NGs from the reply so we get a conglomeration
of the moron's, perverts, their groupies, and the ignorant and lazy of a
dozen or so NGs all arguing with each other about whether a pervert is a

I have met some really gorgeous female truckers. Even drove a few hundred
miles behind one of them.
If I see a female getting fuel, I will try and say 'Hi". I saw one female
that was driving a parking lot. She said she had been doing that for 20
years. That was a little surprising.
I do not plan on posting here much more. Most of the posters have proven
they are on a mission and will use impersonators, another poster using the
exact same Usenet identity, as another poster, to make someone look bad.
Funny thing about that is, I said, I bet someone has impersonated Richard
and then someone does it to me. So I know that shit happens here.
