Does anybody know any companies that will hire people that only want to
drive 4 days a week instead of 5?

Many thanks.

I've heard of a local company that hires part time and I'll try them later
this week.

I've also heard Werner will hire part time. Do you know if there is any
truth to that? BTW it wouldn't be much fun if they hired part time and
could never get the driver home on their days off. Ouch.

By "temporary" do you mean less than a year? I am not interested in
anything like that.

BTW I live about 150 miles west of Chicago.

Thanks

What's a day off? :)

Roehl used to hire part-timers.

Don't know how much luck you will have still in school.

You might have to do your obligatory "year" of slavework.

Please don't listen to that idiot. He doesn't even drive a truck, and
hasn't been inside a school since he fell into a lake full of fish.

Do you love him? It seems like you spend a lot of your time posting about
him.

I would like to find a local job but I hear that takes 2 years experience or
one year with school. Oh well, I might be able to go a year or two OTR.

Thanks for the info. I plan to look into Roehl since they were one of the
companies that sent a recruiter to our school.

Where do you live in relation to their sites?

Email me, the address isn't that hard to figure out, for more on Roehl.

Stay safe,

John

I think it was Celadon that was doing something like out two weeks/home
two weeks or out 10 days/home 10 days or something like that. I can't
remember how it worked and have no idea if they hire students but they
should hire from your neck of the woods.

BTW: around here (New York State) the delivery/mail company Emery is
currently only hiring part time and on-call drivers. Maybe it's the same
near you.
