I know there is already a thread asking about FFE, but there was only one
answer about an O/O, so I'm asking about that company again.
I would like to find a truck that is clean enough inside that I don't smell
like a smoker just because I sat in the drivers seat.
In other words, I don't mind if someone smokes, I just don't want to carry
that smell all around with me if I can avoid it.
I have already ruled out CRST, because of the governor being set at 62mph,
but from what I've heard, they might cater to non-smoking drivers since that
is one of the questions they asked someone that worked for them.
The main question is: Of the companies listed in the subject, how many will
help out a non-smoker?
thanx
I think 75% or more of truck drivers smoke. Almost every truck I have
been issued was formerly driven by a smoker. My trainer smoked. It
sucks, but you'll get over it. What I do is soak the interior of the
truck with Fabreeze and then clean the interior. You might request that
the company assign you to a non-smoking trainer since you won't be able
to avoid his smoking. Once you are assinged your own truck you can
avoid most contact with smokers by simply staying out of the truck stop
TV lounge, but that's a good idea for many other reasons.

All companies will. Once assigned to a truck, take your handy dandy spray
bottle of lysol and totally disenfect it before you put anything into it.
If the truck looks like it could need a good bath inside, ask the company if
they'll steam clean it.
What if the last driver had a dog with him? Do you want to be driving a
truck that wasn't thoroughly cleaned before you got into it with "odor of
dog"?
If the company gives you choices of trucks, ask for one where the previous
driver was a nonsmoker.
You should freaking kill yourself now be4ore you screw up this newsgroup!
Pretty funny Jeff, but the "real" problem started on March 28th 2004
when you became an Identity Thief.

Whatever... I thought others may find it interesting how you started to
alienate people at your workplace and in here from the very begining. Just
look how quickly your ability to be a complete asshole manifested itself!

ROTFLMAO The "Identity Thief" calling someone else an "complete
asshole." How ironic.
Besides if you look closer at those threads you might find some very
decent post. Like where someone posted about getting into sixth gear
when you are having trouble getting into gear.
And if you follow realitytrasher's posting habits you can see his
trigger points dealt with trollbait from tscottme, Dave Ruff and you
in that order.
When you started posting with my name and e-mail address your trigger
post was from realititytrasher, so what this newsgroup shows is that
Trolls work together.
Oh, and do not forget your first excuse for posting with my name and e-
mail address since it is inconsistent with the facts or your current
round of posting trollbait.
