i was kansas city,mo and slept in the casino's parking lot. the
trucker next to got out of his truck and left a gallon full of piss in
plain site under a light pole. what the fuck is wrong with these kind
of assholes. we all piss in a jug from time to time but most of us
dump the stuff out and discard of the container without having someone
else do it for us. these are the jerks that give truckers a bad name.

That's really disgusting. That's really too bad. I wish I could say
his unsanitary and rude behavior is not really a reflection of
truckers as a whole. I know that would be be a lie. Because one bad
apple really does spoil the whole bunch. That's why I just have extreme
apprehensions about getting into to this line of work. I worked at a
truck terminal for nearly 2 1/2 years. The work was hard, but I didn't
like it for that reason. I just got tired of dealing with low life
truckers. There were quite a few good, decent, honest, hard-working
and upstanding truckers, but the rest I met on a weekly and daily
basis were just the dregs of humanity. I don't want to demean truckers
as a whole, but they do have quite a negative image problem as a
whole. I think TV shows and movies perpetuate some of these negative
stereotypes. That's why many people wouldn't at all be surprised or
upset about this trucker's unsanitary behavior as you were. They
pretty much expect this kind of rude and disgusting behavior from
truck drivers. It's a given. I just pray to the Lord that he will
guide me into some other type of lucrative profession besides truck
driving. It's really a solemn prayer of mine.

This is the only industry I've worked in where I regularly meet people
that I'd say are actually retarded. I'm not talking "I can't do a
crossword puzzle" retarded, I mean "what is a door and how do I use it"
retarded. Just last week there was a driver sitting in the shipper's
office and he seemed to be straight from a Cheech and Chong movie or
"Deliverance."

It pretty much wipes out the years we put into evolution, doesn't it?

I just happen to do that all the time. I'm too lazy to walk 100 feet to
use the restroom, so I piss in jugs and then leave them wherever I
happen to be when they get full enough. What are you going to do about it?

HEY! I resemble that remark. I'm driving a truck because nobody else
(except Richard) will put up with me.

Its posts like this that make me recall these words of wisdom from my
dad (when I told him I was going to drive, like he used to)

He said, "Son, remember. They's a reason why some folks are truck
drivers. Its the only honest way for a man to make a living when he
h'aint got a clue how to play well with others."

Any questions?

Frank,

Instead of opening your mouth and putting
your dirty shoe in it, and accusing all the
trucker's here,

WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL THAT TRUCKER WHAT YOU THOUGHT.

Mr. big man, spouting off at others, when
he hasn't got th guts to yell at that driver
why.....afried this big bad trucker who
does his thing in a bottle, and leaves it
there will bring it over and give you a
shower.......

Hopefully you got your frustration over
with........BYE.....

Joyce maybe your into golden showers but I'm not

You should learn to read, i didn't accused anyone here

I'm not going to confront anyone, anywhere. In this world you don't
know who or what your dealing with. and i'm not cb rambo( a person who
hides behind a cb slurring others, probably like you Joyce

And as far as being frustrated NOT, I see this all the time, but at a
casino, that has the courtesy of letting drivers sleep there, i
thought is was a gross thing to do.

It shouldn't be that way, though.
When I walk in a truckstop to pay for fuel I shouldn't have to have six inches
of crack standing in front of me. The guy wears no belt and doesn't seem to
mind that his jeans are half-way down his butt.
I don't dare say anything cause I imagine it would severely embarrass the poor
fool and I might just get the same response folks do when they offer a polite
driving tip on the road. I learned many years ago not to offerdriving tips
unless I'm the one that almost got hit. I can just see the headlines: "Drivers
gets beat up for advising fellow driver to cover his butt-crack when not in his
own truck." :-)

I'm not a real doctor, I don't even play one on the CB.
But someone already stole my CB handle "RockSalt" on aol, so Dr is what I
decided to add.

It is gross. I don't know what Joyce's prob is. She's usually not that short
with other posters. I've seen guys piss on fuel islands. I was going back to my
truck at the Cowboy's in Oxford, Alabama and found a guy pissing by his catwalk
not 100 feet from the store bathroom. Not to mention the fact that I had just
seen him two people in front of me in line at the cashier. The guy was a
dirtbag, like you said.
As far as confronting goes. Joyce might get away with it since she's a woman.
But worrying about getting piss tossed on you is the last thing to fear another
driver doing to you. People get killed for far less these days and I would put
a dirtbag leaving piss jugs in a casino parking lot farther down the foodchain
than a gangbanger killing for a FUBU hat.

Frank,

You don't mind telling every trucker in this
ng about it, but you won't confront a trucker in person...I can
understand that,

You do have one solution, go inside and
tell the operator of the casino, or truck stop, about it...if it bothers
him like it
does you, he will deal with it.

Me I don't cb anyone, I'm at home, my
hubby has a cb in the rig.....

I personally don't like the conversations
that go on with the cb,,some are gross.

like i said before i would never confront anyone anywhere about
disgusting personal habits. i dont need to fight anyone bigger or
smaller than me. i dont want to be like those others. yes i keep my
mouth shut and my body free of cuts and abrasions. im certainly not
going to go into the casino and tell the owners that some guy is
leaving piss bottles around, this may spoil it for all others. i just
voice my opinion, i didnt accused anyone here

If a person has enough disregard to leave a jug of urine in plain sight,
what's to say in this day and age that he wouldn't pull a gun and shoot you
if you walk up to him and call him on it?

And you're right on the mark for offering your concerns. I personally know
of at least a dozen places that previously extended praking to truckers
that have rescinded those privileges for that very reason.

It is absolutely gross. It is absolutely inexcuseable.

It is also why states are enacting legislation to make it a criminal act,
and in fact a felony to dispose of urine in this manner. DNA testing is the
next step to prove cases in court. I wonder if they will be ashamed if they
face a judge to answer to such a charge....probably not even then.

There have been many state highway workers that have been sprayed by
fermented urine while cutting grass, and unfortunately this can be squarely
attributed to the trucking industry.

Why in God's name that these pigs cannot dispose of it in a discreet manner
is beyond my comprehension.

Frank,,,,,,,in response to previous posts,

Really, do you think this particular trucker
cared what you thought, even if you confronted him,,,,

Not all truckers do this, but there are times I am sure,,,,it's
impossible for
nature to hold off until he get to a bathroom,

Yes, he was wrong to drop the bottle
in the parking lot,,,I agree, but if he doesn't care what anyone things
of his
doing this, he doesn't care about much
else either, he has that "who gives a
shit, what anyone else thinks of me"
attitude, and it's made people think
that all trucker's are like that.

He isn't going to wise up until someone
contacts his company and complains.
about him and his practice of dumping
his business elsewhere.

And THAT is the best way to handle the situation.
