400 quatloos! At the current exchange rate, you owe me the address and
$600.00 U.S. Is that more or less than the Canadian peso? I can't keep up
with the Canadian exchange rate...
YHBT and by the same poster that trolled Doug with an e-mail making it
look like it was from me.
Who knows how many other idiots like Doug and Tim were taken by his
Trolling this group and trolling via e-mail? Not me.
The Amirable and loved by many Rocky
I can find the post that proved he fooled Doug with an e-mail so why
do you have to think you are so smart when you are not?
I can find the post where you once again show yourself to be a puppet
for our amusement, and its ... just above this one !!!
Do you really think any of us (the coloquial 'we) give one particle of
bag sweat about your misc.transport.trucking crisis.
WAKE UP !!!!
We play you for the fool you are.
CDL
I don't care.
But it sure feels good to be 4 digits of miles or klicks away from any
road YOU travel.
BTW ... you posted some "blast from the past" about trapping flat bed
loads. You called it a 'choke strap' ... (what the hell is an overhand
sinch? that the O/P asked)
My limited deck experience (20 yrs?), and especially the last few years
with long stock (pipe - sucker rod - steel shapes - and fab-ed steel) --
we were REQUIRED to use that 'over/under strap'. Minimum 3X for striaght
pipe/bars ... as required for irregular loads. We call them 'belly
straps' ... no - it is NOT named after me.
Just for the giggle ... ROOKIE (er... Rocky ... (but not the real one))
- which way do you run a belly strap (or 'choke strap' for best effect,
or does it matter? And why?.

I have done the "belly" strap both ways, but I thought it worked best
to run the strap over the load twice because that way the strap helped
to hold the load down too.
I also learned that the loads were a lot easier to strap down if you
laid down the strap first with the hook on the wrong side, because
once you went over the load with the strap the hook would end up on
the correct side of the flatbed.
You do realize what this means I hope? This means that all the years
that Tim has messed with me about my CDL are because I called a
"belly" strap a "belly" strap on June 18, 2004!
I hope Tim is going to post a few apologies for all his shit.
Many Thanks for your post.
The Admirable Rocky
You mean you had that e-mail address all along? Man what a Troll you
are.
I haven't signed up for a gmail account yet but google make it looks
like it works pretty well with a PPC.
If you really want to get rid of it just reply to this post with a
working password and I will not report you for SPAM this time.
The Admirable Rocky, imitated by Zeke.
One week with "Compass" and you know everything? ROTFLMAO
How many coils did you haul?
Better than that. How many Fire Trucks did you haul?
Or, how many 100+ foot trailers have you pulled?
I have done all the above but it took over 2 years of pulling a
flatbed not just a week.
As for the rub rail, if that is all you have use it.
The Admirable Rocky
Laws about strapping down loads on a flatbed have changed a few times while
I was still pulling flatbeds. Certainly after you have pulled them.
I'm not going to get technical on what is different now because I don't want
to go through another 3 1/2 years bullshit about my CDL for posting a
correct information again. Maybe someone else can enlighten you.
Have a good one Richard.
The Admirable Rocky
TRANSLATION: I don't know. I've never pulled one.
richard, just go to a truckstop and look for some flatbeds. You should see
for yourself that the straps and chains are done differently than you were
taught.
Where you place the hook on the rub-rail, you will find that they will wrap
the hook with the strap to prevent it from falling out very easily. You
didn't mention "wrap" at all.
As for the chains, you might find they no longer hook the chain to itself.
It is kindof hard to describe how it is done, but it is not the way you
described it.
For you to take the word of Tim who took your word on June 18, 2004 shows
that you are both Idiots! You have both been Trolled and you both continue
to Troll each other. That is what is wrong with this NG. The Trolls feed
each other just like you did with Tim in this thread and Tim did with you on
June 18, 2004!
The Admirable Rocky - Knows who the Trolls really are!
All I asked is that you go to a truckstop and see how the straps and chains
are hooked to the flatbed now and you just bullshit about it.
You are hopeless Richard and as hopeless as Tim the Troll is.

Psst Roger the Cowardly LIAR, why don't you tell them how to climb up
them stairs on the outside and sit in the seat and turn on the key?
I am SURE everyone here would benefit from your "advanced knowledge" -
( or URL hunts! ). This is information I am SURE REAL truckdrivers
just don't know how to do right and you could do so much to enlighten
them!!! HAR HAR HAR
