Too bad about the turnout.
But... Your problem might lie with your friend Linda. She was posting on the
29th that the Big Day was tomorrow... Which would have been Sept. 30th

Considering your event took place on Oct. 1st, this might have been the
problem.
Great planning there, BWAS!
Walker.
Linda's Reply.....Actually we did have a fairly good turn-out. Most
arrived mid-afternoon, for some reason. It was a beautiful day. We
have a lot of pictures of the follage, just starting to change color,
as well as our lake. Wanda will be over to post pictures of the
event, here, later on today. It's been a great day!

PS
I posted this early FRIDAY morning on the east coast, maybe it was
still Thursday night out west.

I'm so excited! Tomorrow, Saturday October 1st, is the reenactment of
the "Big Event",Commemorating the founding of the BWAS, that occurred
on December 25th 1971. It will be at the BWAS Camp in Ringtown Pa.
It is really a very important milestone in BWAS and trucking
history. Jill, Elmer and myself will be there.
We will be open to the public, Saturday, 10am till midnight. See you
there!...Linda BWAS
Hey... no skin off my nose if you had the date right, or not.
I could care less.
You all post here thinking that someone cares.... They don't.
By the way... How is Charlie doing?
Walker.
Wrong again Walker.
Foliage just starting to change? Nice try - it's changing slower than ususal
this year, and has just started to do that in upper Vermont & New Hampshire,
which is a far cry from Ringtown, last time I checked.
Hmmm. See I told Walker there was someone interested in Ringtown. (my
quote "Wrong again Walker")
Thanks Barry for proving me right once again. Wow, what would I do without
you.

Linda's reply, Charlie who?
Linda's Reply:
Yes, most of the tall trees are still green, even though they are
dropping leaves. However most of the bushes and undergrowth are in
near full color now. The poison ivy is bright red now. For some reason
the hills of northern Schuylkill county turn color early. Some say it's
the rocky soil. Others say it's the shadows from the hills. I have
noticed that high shade aerias seem to turn first. It is still summer
down in the valleys and we didn't get a killer frost yet which is very
unusual. Linda BWAS
Linda,
Sorry I missed you. I asked for Friday off, and I got it, but I didn't get
home until real early Friday morning. Too late for a rested trip to
Ringtown.
When I got back, someone in Dispatch asked why I wanted Friday off. I said:
"To see a bunch of Female Truck Drivers, why else?"
Best wishes
Rocky
You are observing a Newsgroup Hijacking where two posters, tscottme and Dave
Ruff have decided to focus this newsgroup on attacking another poster by
posting false information about his CDL.
> I guess there is no shortage of stupid male truck
> drivers here or on the road.
EXACTLY. None of the stupid male tuck divers here recognize a newsgroup
hijacking when it is right in front of them. They all think it is fun and
games against another poster but that is what makes them stupid male truck
drivers.
> Got to go now. Looking forward to seeing
> those pictures Sunday Night. Karen
Best wishes.
