Graduated Today

[Still in School not]

I had a riot in my 10 weeks of learning how to drive an 18-wheeler. Too bad
it was over so soon.

I will not bore you with too many details, other than our first instructor
reminded me that he told us, if an drivers license examiner wants to smoke
during the road test, let him.

He also told me that the examiner I had was the hardest one. After seeing
how easy other examiners were, on the skills test, he was probably right.

One person found a job, a day or two after he got his CDL. Then he skipped
about a week of school to drive for that place. We didn't think we would
see him again, but he showed up today.

The only people that didn't have any prospective employers lined up, were
the ones that waited until after they got their CDL before they started
looking for work.
