Milwaukee - Zoo Interchange emergency repairs

Apparently, the three bridges in Milwaukee's Zoo Interchange with weight restrictions currently in place are worse than they thought. Engineers doubt they would last until the interchange is rebuilt in 4 to 6 years. [link] This is referring to an elevated section of I-84 (and US Route 6) between exits 46 (Sisson Avenue) and 48 A/B (Asylum Street/Capitol Avenue) in Hartford. Some people want it torn down altogether.
