  If it&#39;s any consolation St. Louis has two terminals now, too. The main &lt;br&gt; and the east. They used to connect but because of loss of hub status &lt;br&gt; when TWA went belly up the number of flights, and resulting required &lt;br&gt; airport capacity has dwindled dramatically. As a result the concourse &lt;br&gt; that connects the two terminals was closed.

  I&#39;ve driven the road several times, and it is generally passible with a 2WD &lt;br&gt; vehicle with good ground clearance, but the condition can vary over the &lt;br&gt; summer. The sights you find at the end of the road at McCarthy and &lt;br&gt; Kennicott is well worth the effort. &lt;br&gt; Did you at least get to the Kuskulana Trestle at mile 17.4?
