youse guys don't seem to get it. "Super 7" was defeated by a NIMBY crowd that
is much stronger today. We in NY would LIKE the development MASS does not want.
If I lived in Berkshire Co Mass I would urge Mass DOT to HELP PAY for extending
i684 in NY 22 corridor north to i 90!!

Not an interstate!! Speed traps, no trucks, not safe for 65. Also, since the
death of the Putnam Div. RR, does not twin with a railway as does NY 22 with
Metro North to Dover PLains.

Thus, the Taconic corridor is beautiful and inhabited by many tree hugging NYC
weekenders. I would leave it alone.
Conversely, no apparent reason why NY 22 corridor should NOT have an
interstate. This is a more depressed area that could use some development, ROW
cheaper, etc.
