He has posted on his Stanley Steamers before. I've ridden in one at the
museum in DE and saw an early model steam up from scratch. It was not
really dramatic at all...no flashes of flame. Leno just reveals he is not
at all sure of how to handle his own car. And yes, they ran quietly and
well too.

I drove a 1922 Dodge phaeton/touring sedan (soft top, no side windows) when
I was 16. It was surprisingly easy to drive, and not that different from
modern cars with manual transmissions. The second oldest vehicle that I've
driven was a 1959 Ford F100 pickup truck.

You have me scratching my head, I can't believe the oldest cars I've
driven were '62 (a Sprite I helped restore and a Taunus)... now I have
a desire I didn't know I had. I did drive my brother's 2/3 scale '50s
replica of a 1903 Olds (Cushman powered).

Oldest for me was my buddies '26 buick - willed to him by an aunt.
The dip totally destroyed it
by kicking out the windows, chopping a hole in the roof, etc. 1951.
Oldest car owned?

1936, 1937, 1938 chev (yes all of them) at 17 and 18 yoa.
