New NSW Transit Officer blitz
|
| |
...He he - all it will prove is that Transit Officers are an uncontrolled entity who don't operate within the limits of their authority and are basically another type of intimidation tactic for the NSW government to prove how distasteful CityRail is to a majority of it's users. It seems that for most people, they use CityRail trains as a... more »

I heard that it ran out of money or there was internal politics or something, I am planning a trip to travel on the new Ghan, but would also like to see what's left of the old one. One... more »

Triple Gauge in Queensland
|
| |
Many years ago in the mid-1970s I toured about Eastern Australia by train. Eventually I ended up in Brisbane and then caught a train to Toowoomba. There I waited a couple of days for a goods train south - actually it was loco-hauled with a guards van / passenger carriage tacked to the rear. We went down to Wallangara or Tenterfield I think.... more »
