As it should be! Fortunate that the station wasn't completely demolished
like it was originally going to be when the old footbridge linking it with
the up and down yards was deemed unsafe and closed.
Here in Adelaide the SA government is determined to proceed with its
vested-interest (aka private-ownership) redevelopment of the Transadelaide
railcar depot to turn it into the 'white-elephant' Marjorie-Jackson hospital
yet so far nothing has happened next to Dry Creek south yard where the new
depot will go. Dry Creek station is right next to all the land that the
government owns surrounding the triangle for the closed Northfield line.
