HMS Rose
His most spectacular creation was the replica of the 18th-century HMS
Surprise — a modern tall ship, with 20 guns, built at Lunenberg, Nova
Scotia, Canada, as "Rose" to a Bolger design. It was based on the
original British Admiralty drawings.
