Original. Private collection. Limited ed. #113/950. Image Size 15-1/2" x
23". Frame size 27" x 33" (1.5" thick). Print (without frame) lists for
$100.00, so with this matted frame I would estimate its worth at over
$200.00. Description: The AMERICA STAR (ex SS AMERICA, running mate of SS
UNITED STATES) is seen drifting after her tow lines broke on January 19-20,
1994 off the Canary islands in force 12+winds. The liner was being towed to
Thailand by the salvage tug NEFTEGAZ 67 to be converted to a Five-Star
floating hotel. Attempts to reconnect the towline were unsuccessful and SS
AMERICA later grounded on Fuertaventura Island and broke amidships before
salvage efforts could commence. ------------- Locals are welcome to pick
this up at my home by the afternoon of Saturday, August 9. If you choose
shipping I am going to bring this to a local packing/shipping store. You
will deal directly with them at that point concerning shipping costs/packing
costs, etc. It weighs about 9 pounds so I will leave all estimating up to
you. My zip code is 33708. PAYPAL ONLY (unless locals pay cash - Confirmed
Paypal addresses only)! Payment expected within 3 days of auction end. NO
OUT-OF-USA SALES! No international bidders. No "-1" feedback bidders. Good
