Aeroflot 737-500 crashed in Russia.

First Aeroflot crash since march 1994 (the kid in cockpit turning off
autopilot incident).

Aeroflot seems to have truly transformed itself since the soviet era,
and now has a lot of western aircraft in its fleet.

While the media seem to be quick to point to the global russian crash
record to make Russia look unsafe, Does Aeroflot still have a bad image
where it counts (Boeing, NTSB and european authorities ?)

For instance, now, they are saying the right engine failed probably
catastrophically.

Would Boeing/NTSB (who will participate) automatically assume bad
maintenance ? Or has Aeroflot gained sufficient respect in the aviation
industry that they would take this crash as seriously as western airlines ?
