Stumbled onto this. This is not meant as advertising for them but....

I had javascript disabled and it offered me option to download a PDF
which contains the whole issue. Hiqh quality magazine. Lots of adverts,
but even many of those are interesting.

Found out they now have phosphorescent track lighting instead of the
older electrical ones. Actually, they use "photoluminescent" and say it
isn't radioactive. What sort of technology/process allows that ?

Some kind of UV-excited fluorescence?

That is, put fluorescent paint anywhere you want to have a glow, and
then just put one or a few UV sources that will provide diffuse
excitation through the whole cabin volume when needed?

These sources could be small UV lamps, or efficient UV LEDs that are now
either here or coming soon.
