EXPERIENCE: 6 yrs in
Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Apps R12 and Oracle 11g database
implementation and administration
Deep understanding of Oracle's release management and administration
and patch analysis and ability to provide recommendations
Experience with IBM AIX UNIX, UNIX shell scripting and configuring
applications in a load balanced environment
Excellent analytical abilities
Strong technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Excellent interpersonal skills.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all Oracle Applications database administration activities
including cloning, code migration, patch analysis/patching and
administration.
Designing, implementing and monitoring database functionality to
ensure stable environments
Performing database administration and management activities in a
safe, recoverable and professional manner that ensures the optimal
operation of all database environments
Uphold enterprise policy guidelines and recommend new and improved
guidelines to ensure compatibility and better service for end-users
Identifying and initiating resolutions to user problems/concerns
associated with database server equipment (hardware and software)
Logging support cases as necessary and effectively work with Oracle
corporation.


2. Location: Woonsocket, RI
Title: Oracle DBA.
Experience: Atleast 5 yrs
Expected joining date: Immediate
Skill Set:
. Hands-on experience as an oracle DBA, working with Oracle 9i, 10g
and 11g.
. Understanding of QUALYS guard tool for vulnerability remediation .
Need to apply CPU/PSU to various versions of oracle databases -
rolling for RAC systems . Upgrades of databases to 9g, 10g and 11g -
Rolling upgrades for RAC environment is a plus . Understanding of
ARCHER tool to upload evidences against QUALYS items is also a plus.
. A strong understanding of SOX, PCI and PII audits.
. A strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS concepts and fundamentals.
. Experience with IBM AIX, HP-UX or SUN Solaris UNIX operating
systems . Proven ability in UNIX shell scripting and PL/SQL coding.
. 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator,
working directly with Oracle 9i,10g and 11g . A strong understanding
of Oracle RDBMS concepts and fundamentals . A willingness to
participate in a 7X24 rotation of the primary pager support .
Experience with IBM AIX, HP-UX or SUN Solaris UNIX . Proven ability in
UNIX shell scripting and PL/SQL coding
