A former Food Network celebrity chef has been arrested for tax
evasion in Houston, according to KPRC Local 2 News.
Wendell price, 43, was arrested by U.S. marshals in Houston on
three felony warrants for falsification of tax records and
theft, the station reported. The celebrity chef is accused of
charging tens of thousands of dollars of sales tax, but he did
not forward the money to the government.
Price, who grew up in Houston, was arrested on similar charges
in 2009. He starred on a cooking show on the Food Network in 2003
