Some are, but the neo-cons who have taken over the party
aren't. On the other hand, the Democrats sure as hell
aren't either. You're stuck either voting for the lesser of
two evils (which I take to be the Republicans, but just
barely) or wasting your vote on a no-chance third party. I
expect I'll do the latter.

Republicans have family values, christian values, American values,
god's a republican ( I learned that in church), republicans are
patriotic, republicans are mainstream America and from the heartland
(just watch Fox news and listen to clearchannel they'll tell ya),
nobody else can protect are country, we're fighting terrorism
worldwide, we're also fighting the war on crime, we're into small
government and cutting taxes, we're not erroding the Constitution and
Bill of Rights ( it just seems that way) we believe in a strong law
enforcement military style presence and Prison Industrial Complex,
Supply Side Economics is clearly better then the old econonomics of
supply and demand on the labor side too, we don't waste tax dollars on
Federal Wage Law Enforcement, we've done away with those evil unions,
we don't believe in subsidizing them lazy old citizens when we need to
be spending money to ensure an international market, we no longer eat
french fries, but instead eat freedom fries, we've gotten rid of
Walter Chronkite, Bill Moyer, Peter Jennings and Dan Rather and
replaced them with a much more American, Bill O'reilly, Rush Limbaugh,
Shawn Hannity, Oliver North and Dr Laura Slessinger who can tell us
how to live right again, the economy heading for a recession or worse
is clearly the liberal democrats fault, people should refrain from
sex, nudity and bad language, rock and roll is evil, country music
rules and everyone else is just stupid, stupid, stupid! That's why
everone should vote republican...we will stay this course!
