and the afghani people that they 'will be assimilated'.
more moderate members of the taliban government have also been
promised that they will be given positions of authority in the new
government of borghanistan.

I am not Borg, since I have only eyeglasses and a ring. I did detail
an assimilation process elsewhere. It was intended to drag all third
world nations kicking and screaming into the new millenium. I doubt
that the Taliban, and associated religious fanatics can be salvaged.
In Borg like manner I would render them down into component parts for
use by transplant patients, if anyone could be found who would accept
soiled goods. You probably had no idea of the plan which I sent to
"People" magazine, but it was never a secret....
