Has anyone here ever read the "Streamlined America" series by Dean Ing
? Hint : religious fanatics were NOT the "good guys".
It is the duty of an informed and alert citizenry to be the watchdogs
of public policy and politicians. Are you alert ? I thought so. Are
you informed ? Somewhat at best. Are you being a watchdog ? Some of
you are (like me) trying it on for size.
If it takes 10 percent of America's wealth to put paid to terrorists
and their backers (2+ trillion) would that be too high a price ? The
rot has progressed pretty far, but not beyond cure. The real arguments
are about what is the proper arsenal of cures. I hide nothing about my
activities. I have to wonder just how much all these liberal pinkos
are hiding when they scream about their privacy being invaded. As I
said before, I consider a wider audience to be sincere flattery.
I think that President Bush is doing fine so far. The money trail will
tell where the real problem lies. Oil petrodollars aside, I think that
the trail will lead right back here to the good old USA and old money.
They got hurt in their pocketbooks when the stock market crashed last
year and FAILED to recover this year. Who pulled out of the .com
markets and where did their money go ? Whose financial trail was
obscured by taking down the WTC towers ? Now you will notice that they
are pushing for economic stimulus packages to get people into the
stores to buy the products of their companies and preserve the
"American Dream" that they want for us all - Five years plus of
disposable income indebtedness with credit cards. Is it about time
that the money lenders and market manipulators were put in their
proper places ? I say yes, and past time too!
The last time, back in 1997 that I started on this theme, somebody got
to me. See postings in misc.invest.marketplace by tc5...@aol.com I
suspect a time release psychotic drug but have no way to prove it. So
if I am abruptly cut off, then you will know that once again I tried
and failed. I pass the torch along to anybody willing to take it up.
Invention will beat investment someday, the day may not be yet, but it
will come.......
