It isn't going to happen, but I'd love to see a role call vote on that
amendment to the health care bill in the Senate.

You can't be serious. If you don't know who to vote out by now...

Yeah, but he doesn't come up for re-election until 2014. Baucus has run on
the 'I bring home the bacon' platform for about a quarter of a century but
I think he may have overdone it this time. I still have hopes for the other
one.

No, he is correct. He identified a wish (progressive) and the problem
(Republican) correctly.

Notice he did not make the common, but stupid, mistake of conflating
progressive or liberal with Democrat.

The republicans are of no consequence. They are a minority.

You need to get rid of the democrats who have held your health care
bill hostage while extorting ransom for a party line vote.

I missed the Staff Meeting but the Minutes record that "HH&C"

Yeah, but I want to see Democrats try and say they voted for the
bill before they voted against it.

OTOH, Read the Bill, Senator. It is not a filibuster if you have
the clerk read the bill to the Senate. Or the House. Or both, for
that matter.

I have yet to see anything even approaching "left," let alone "far left"
in the Republican Party.

I guess you read between the lines better than I do...

Nonsense; hell, even I do not make a stupid statement like that about
the Republical Party, and you KNOW how much I hate them - I, unlike you,
just have this thing about some semblance of reality in my statements.

One way = what I also believe.
Other way = what I find to be reprehensible.

NOTE that the Democrats fit neither (as stated above).

You never get anything; you live in a fantasy world of your own making,
and project your fantastic nonsense n all that you respond to.

Hamster, you are a liability to your own side.

Hey!

Dan has been conditioned (by me) to think of me whenever anyone gets
the better of him.

Now you've insulted him twice.

What do you think turned him against Obama?

How? It's not like you've gotten the better of him. Ever. Nor most
folks you disagree with. Ever.
