I found an interesting writer, "Robin of Berkeley". Sort of a Camille
Paglia of the Therapy set, she's a recovering liberal who lives and
works in Berkeley. In '08, she had a rather rude awakening, and on
thing lead to another, and now she writes a column for the American
Spectator. http://www.americanthinker.com/robin_of_berkeley/
Anyway, Stockholm Syndrome, and Berkeley. The entire populace there
is complicit with crime, street muggings, take-over robberies ("home
invasions" at a businesses)
two quotes:
"SS (good acronym, huh?) is rooted in a basic, primordial instinct for
self protection in the wake of extraordinary trauma and terror. To
survive, the victim identifies with the captors and merges
psychologically with them. But SS takes on a life of its own when
victims stop seeing their own humanity and want only to serve the
abuser."
"I heard a philosopher once say that one of the biggest existential
tasks of life is giving up the fantasy of the ultimate rescuer.
Liberalism reinforced this fantasy for me, as it does for so many
others. Now I see the truth: We come into this world alone, and we
will leave it alone. When we live our lives in the back seat of the
car expecting Daddy to drive us, we only have a child's view of the
world."

Interesting.
I wonder, how long it will take the lefties being targeted in a
Grand Cull, to recognize that they deserve what they get. After all,
their killers obviously are victims, too.

"With Age comes Wisdom. Although more often, Age travels alone."
True...so very very true. Well said!
Gunner, got his new banjo strings so he can handle the Great Cull with
style and glee.
"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the
means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not
making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of
it. In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different
countries, that the more public provisions were made for the
poor the less they provided for themselves, and of course became
poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the
more they did for themselves, and became richer." -- Benjamin
Franklin, /The Encouragement of Idleness/, 1766
"Clyde plays Electric Bass.
Plays it with Finesse and Grace."

Just about the time you finally see light at the end of the tunnel,
you find out it's a Government Project to build more tunnel.
Robin of Berkeley is obviously suffering from Stockholm Syndrome...
Dan
Gunner can play banjo AND squeal like a pig at the same time.

The last official act of any government is the looting of the nation.
Precision or jazz?
Waylon Jennings ... so it's anybody's call.
Deliverance your favorite movie?
No. I have very little in common with you.
