Me and my hunting buddies come up with this idea -- instead of spending big bucks on deer urine, we figure we could just spray our own piss all over the place and do the same thing. Anybody ever tried this?

And PLEASE.... only people with actual experience using deer urine pls reply to my question. Yes, I know that 95% of you people have to give some stupid "educated" guess, even though you have never even been hunting. So, to you people, just please keep quiet. No offense intended -- just go reply to a posting that you know something about (and won't look stupid).

To the rest of you - thanks ahead of time.

Peter, I recommend against attempting to use human urine to attract deer. The
organic gardening community has found human urine a great deer repellant. If
attempting to find a cheaper substitute use horse or cattle urine. They are
grazers that deer do not fear. Human, dog, cat, any predator urine will tend to
keep the deer away.

I save money by simply smearing some of my wife's tuna casserole
on my boots...... It attracts deer, and also assures me of empty
seats
on either side when I ride a bus.....

If you don't stink you won;t have a problem. A Raccoon smells like a
human that works hard. Don't believe it find someone that raises them
for pets. It is not a nasty smell simply what hard working human smells
like. Don't eat onions and garlic and asparagus and no meat for five
days or so and work out hard by ding extra chores. Don't wear cologne or
anti perserants or deodorants. Once you sweat and excrete all that junk
your body wants to sweat out you don't stink you smell like a human or
raccoon.
I never worried abot it. I did wear scent on pads in the boot heel sole
area. Deer followed me. Didn't wear it deer followed me. Being quiet and
walking in patterns of three steps imitating a cow or deer will put them
at ease. Takes a little practice. Where there are a lot of deer on hills
and in the brush waiting for twilight it sounds like war as evening
approaches as deer head for chow, From second tier in they are quit as
church mice.
