1st. Access
alt.energy.renewable
alt.energy.homepower
newsgroups, as that is what they are all about.
2nd. Use yahoo and search under the key of solar, this will provide you
links to access various retailers and info sites, etc... you may have to
travel down some link branches to get what you want but it is worth it.
3rd. If you are serious, then subscribe to "Home Power" magazine. At
only $22.50 per year it is very much worth it, plus you can purchase older
issues on CD-ROM. HP is an industry wide resource for anyone interested
in alt. energy, as well as other alternatives like heating & cooling,
transportation, safety issues, etc. I've been a subscriber since issue #
11 and have all of them as reference resources. You can usually find a
copy of HP at better bookshops (Border's, Barnes & Noble, and etc.), so
pick an issue up and you will see what I mean. Also, in HP are ads from
companies who are in the alt energy/heating/cooling/water pumping/etc.
business for you to contact for pricing.
Enjoy!

Hi, Jan. Try teaching them to drag solo. Lead them around in harness, dragging
a light pole next to you in the other hand. That way, you can easily drop the
pole and cope with a horse if they spook. Drag that pole a LOT, getting them
used to the sounds and the bouncing pole. Then try riding them, dragging the
light pole next to them, lightly bumping them with it..... Eventually, they
will get totally spook proof. Drag on both sides, bump them on both sides.
Then get them to the point of dragging heavier items.
Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Add to that a step where they just drag
a long cord and then chains so that
if they step on them or they get their feet
slapped they dont panic. You can have them drag a soft large coeg arround
the pasture for a few houres.
